Beyond The Burtonesque Dolls Challenge

Its challenge time once again over at Beyond The Burtonesque Dolls.  This week is our altered challenge and we had to Goth up a Cutie and incorporate it onto an altered project.

I was a bit stumped at first because I really didn't think I had any cute images that I could successfully Goth up.  Then I remembered Belle one of my daughter's designs from my Platypus Creek Digi range and decided this might work.

Anyway here is my altered notebook.

Be sure to head over and see what the rest of the Dolls have come up with.

CCAYR Mid Month Inspiration

Here are the two cards I created for the mid month inspiration over at Christmas Cards All Year 'Round.

I've used the same Designer Papers that I used on my other two DT cards for this month's challenge.
I love these papers so I'm using up every little scrap that I have.

I've again used the Spellbinder Pennants and Lacey Pennants to make the Christmas Trees.  I'm finding this set of dies to be very useful in my cardmaking and scrapbooking at the moment.

Christmas Cards All Year 'Round March Challenge

It's time once again for the monthly challenge over at Christmas Cards All Year 'Round. This month the challenge is to create a card with green as the main colour. An optional extra is to use two designer papers.

Here are my cards:

The dark green printed paper is from Bo Bunny.  (An older collection) The other printed paper I had in my stash and the info strip was gone so not sure where that came from.
I've used Spellbinders Pennants and Lacy Pennants on both cards, Labels Nine on the first card and Classic Scalloped Edgeabilities on the second card.
The O Christmas Tree ribbon slider is made using shrink plastic and a stamp from Sunshine Designs.
The bling, pearls cord and ribbon are from my stash.

Be sure to head over to the Christmas Cards All Year 'Round blog and see what the rest of the Design Team have come up with.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Leibster Blog

I recently received a blog award called the Liebster Blog Award.  The award was presented to me by Denise from Scrappy D's House of Cards.  Thank you Denise for thinking of me and presenting me with this award.

Liebster is a German word meaning “dearest”. It is a cyber-award that is given to up-and-coming bloggers with less than 200 followers.

If you receive the award, you should:

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
2. Reveal your top five picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Hope that the people you’ve sent the award to forward it to their five favorite bloggers and keep it going!

It was a difficult decision to pick just five bloggers to give this award to but here is my list in no particular order:

Sue Smyth
Sandy G
Rosa Witten
Liz Webber
