The Burtonesque Dolls Recreate a Scene Challenge

The challenge this week over at The Burtonesque Dolls is to recreate a scene from any of your favorite Burton films.

For my card I have used the digi images Damien from Simply Betty Stamps and Gossmere from Tiddly Inks, to recreate a scene from The Corpse Bride.

Three Panel Card

Good morning everyone.  It's been quite a while since my last post, but it's been a pretty hectic month for me.  First I had my daughter's 16th birthday to organise, then as soon as that was over we started to paint our house.  I've had to completely move out of my craft room, so until the painting is finished I'm working at the dining room table.  Not the best creative environment, but we will see how we go.

Anyway I did manage to get a tutorial done for DownUnder Direct this week.  The tutorial is on how to make a three panel card (in one continuous piece) using a spellbinder die.

For step by step instructions on how to make this project, head over to DownUnder Direct Inspirations.

The Burtonesque Dolls- Lighter Side of Burton Challenge

It's challenge time again at The Burtonesque Dolls, and this week we are looking for the Lighter Side of Burton. The challenge- to create a card using an image from a lighter, less dark Burton film .

I decided on this image from Big Fish as my inspiration.

And here is my card done in yellows and blues.

The image Is Suzi from the new Mer Kids range over at Simply Betty Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Christmas In July Challenge Winner

It's time to announce the winner of my Christmas in July Challenge.  I've drawn the winner at random using random.org.

The winner is Sandy G.  Congratulations Sandy.  Send me an email to claim your prize.

Now I promised to feature the top three cards here on the blog.  As I only had four different participants I decided to feature a card from each here.  So in no particular order here are four cards from the challenge participants.  Be sure to head over to their blogs and have a look at more of their wonderful creations.

Thank you ladies for joining in on my first challenge.
