More New Spellbinders

Here is another card I made using two new Spellbinder Dies.  The border is S5-034 Parisian Accents. (I love this die.)  I've also used S4-309 Labels 4 Small, as it goes with S4-190 Labels 4, which I've used as well.
The stamp is from Tickled Pink.  The paper is from Christina Re.  I've coloured the image with Copics.  I've used my Fastenater from EK Success with Happy Birthday staple bars on the side.

New Spellbinders Heart Circles

Here are a couple of cards I made using one of the newly released Spellbinders Die S4-316 Heart Circles.
The stamp used on this first card is from JustRite Stamps Wedding Set.  I've cut out the various dies and layered onto the card.  To finish it off I've added some organza ribbon and a couple of gold heart charms.

I've pretty much done the same for this second card, but have added some of the small hearts on the corners with some pearls.  The wording is a Platypus Creek digi.  It can be downloaded free from the website.

Hannah's Butterfly

I made this card using one of my new release digi stamps -  Hannah's Butterfly.  The stamp was designed by my daughter, and is available for purchase over on my digital website Platypus Creek Digitals.

The paper that I used is from K & Co.  I've had the paper in my stash for over a year so I'm pleased I finally put it to use. I've printed the image onto Express It blender card and then coloured with copics.

Party Time Burton Style!

It's time again for another challenge over at The Burtonesque Dolls.  The theme for this week is The Art of Tim Burton.

For my card I used a colouring page from the internet.  I resized, printed and then coloured using Copics.  Why not hop over to the blog and see what the other Dolls have created.

Blue & Green

Sorry I've been MIA for the past few days.  It's been a hectic week as it is back to school time here and as always there's lots to do.
I made this card for the Spoonful of Sugar Challenge.  The theme this week is blue and green.

January is a busy month for birthdays.  Besides family members celebrating, my daughter has three friends with January birthdays as well.  I made this card for her for one of them.  The main image is a digi from Simply Betty Stamps.   The wording is from JustRite.  Flowers and papers are from my stash.

Planners

I had a bit of time this morning so I was having a look at some blogs I like to visit, and on one had been posted a couple of planners.  I remembered I had made a couple for presents to take to Canada at Christmas, but had forgot to post them.   So here they are, better late than never.

Just before we left I found some small 2 year planners in one of our discount shops.  They were pretty ordinary but the plastic covers came off so I thought they would make a nice quick project.  I covered the outer cover with Bazzill.  The image that I've used is from JustRite Stamps Backyard Birds.   I've stamped both with Tuxedo Black Memento, and sponged one with Distress Ink.  They were quick and simple but I was happy with the finished product.

Burtonesque Dolls Challenge

The Burtonesque Dolls are back!  The first challenge for the new year is "New Year, New Start Burtonesque Dolls Style"
The challenge this week is to create a card/project with a New Home or New Baby theme, but don't forget to add that Burtonesque Twist.

I must admit I was a bit unsure of what I was going to create when I woke up this morning and saw the new challenge.  I had a look through my stamps and didn't have anything that I really wanted to use, so I decided to make my own digi especially for this challenge.  So here is what I came up with.

I printed my digi onto Express It blender card and then coloured with Copics.  The paper is from KI Memories and is part the Flourish 8 x 8 pad.  The ribbon is from my ever growing stash.  The key I have also had for ages.
Be sure to hop over to The Burtonesque Dolls and see what the other DT members have created.  Thanks for looking.

Thanks

I made this card today to send to the lady who looked after our little poodle during our recent holiday. We were away for nearly 6 weeks so it was good to know he was being well looked after. I think that he enjoyed his "holiday" nearly as much as we enjoyed ours.

The image that I have used is Kiki from Tiddly Inks. I've printed it onto Express It blender card and then coloured with Copics. The paw print background is a cutting file I designed. I designed it as a single fold card, but have used it as a backing layer. The ribbon and charm are from my stash.

You may download the cutting file free by clicking here. The file is in both svg and scut2 format.

I thought I would enter this card in the following challenges:
Winter Wonderland - Paws For Thought
A Spoonful of Sugar-Thank you cards

I'm Back....

and you are probably wondering what I'm doing with a Christmas card as my first post of the year.
Well before I left on holidays I submitted a card to the Christmas Cards All Year Round DT call and to my surprise and delight I was asked to join their design team... So here is my first card.
The theme this month is Anything Goes, so come on over and play with us and get those cards started for next year.

It seemed to take forever for me to recover from the jet lag this trip. I think it was because we had such a long lay over in LA- 10 hours at the airport before boarding our 13 hour flight home. This was all after a very early morning start for a flight from the east coast. Anyway I think I'm good now.

For my card I have used one of the snowmen from the Sunshine Designs Snowman Collection. The image has been stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured with Copics. I've mounted the image onto Snowflake Pendant die cut from Spellbinders. I've also embossed the light blue paper with my Snowflake Impressabilities.
