Scrap Pile Saturday Challenge #9

Hello and Happy Friday to all. It's once again time for me to post my submission to The Scrap Pile Saturday Challenge over at Stampin Inspirations. The challenge this week was to follow the sketch and to completely use up a packet of opened embellishments.

I've had these little ceramic buttons in my stash for around about 13 years. I bought them on one of my trips to the US. I remember using two of the blue ones on a little dress I made for my daughter when she was two. The rest have sat in a box since. I had five buttons, so I made this set of cards and a little tote to hold them.

Here is the sketch that was provided.

Scrap Pile Saturday Challenge #8

It's time again for the Scrap Pile Saturday Challenge over at Stampin Inspirations. The title of this week's challenge is Something Orange. As the title says we had to use something orange on this weeks creation. The stamp I have used is a digi from Pink Cat Studio. I purchased this some time ago, but this is the first I have used it. I managed to find some nicely co-ordinating bits of papers in my scrap pile as well as some matching embellishments. The printed paper is from a DCWV stack. I've coloured the image using my Copics.

Scrap Pile Saturday Challenge #7

I finally managed to find the time to make a card. We arrived home from our holiday last Friday, but this is the first chance I've had to escape to the craft room.

I made this card this morning for the Scrap Pile Saturday Challenge over at Stampin Inspirations. The printed papers I used are from Bo Bunny, and are the same ones I used to create my last card. (The dotted print is on the back of the snowflakes.) I guess I used them simply because they were still sitting on my desk. The snowflakes are cut using my Spellbinders die-Snowflake Wonder. The circle, scalloped circle and scalloped oval are also Spellbinder dies. The stamp is from a Sunshine Designs Christmas wording set.
I've also entered this card into the Christmas Stampin All Year Long challenge, as the challenge this week is to use die cuts.
