May Project Sneak Peek

This view master card is a technique I've wanted to try for sometime. When I saw this new design Season's Tree from Sunshine Designs I knew it would be perfect. Cardstock used is Bazzill Basics. The wording is computer generated. As I was making the card I had an old song When You Need a Friend by James Taylor running through my head. (Now I'm really showing my age) I thought the words from the song fit the card perfectly.
There are another two cards in the set and a bonus Christmas card also made from this set. This is just a sneak peak so you will have to wait until they are loaded into Project of the Month on my online shop to see the others. They will be there sometime tomorrow.

Puppy Love

I originally created this layout for the DUD blog, but decided it didn't showcase their products as much as I would have liked. This is a photo of Shadow, my oh so spoiled 3 year old poodle.
I've used Raven Bazzill for the background. Printed paper is from Bo Bunny. Flowers are a combination of paper flowers and spellbinder dies. The ribbon was purchased in America at Michaels.

I'm back...

I didn't realise how long it had been since my last post. The past couple of weeks have been very hectic. I've been busy creating projects for DUD, and I am happy to say that I have finished my creations for this month. I spent all weekend creating and although I can't share everything I made with you just yet, here are a couple of the things I made on the weekend.
In my last clean up I found a Hot Off The Press book of 12 x 12 papers Fresh Citrus. I really liked the bright colours of the one I've used here. it went really well with my Petty Cash Bling from Bazzill. On the top card I used Enjoy and Star Border form Justrite Stampers -Harmony Classic Circle Stamper II Stamp Ensemble. I also used my Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles. A quick and easy card.
On the second card I used Martini Delight, a cling set from The Stamp Barn. I also used my Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals. I stamped and embossed the image twice, coloured in the image with Tombows and popped up the lemon and little umbrella. To finish it off I added a little glossy Accents to the bubbles.

Another Easter Card

I made this card last night. I'm not sure who makes the paper as I bought it for a scrapbook page, and used the bit that has the company name printed on it. I went back to get more and it was sold out.
The image is Blooming Egg from The Artful Stamper.
I've cut an oval using my Spellbinder dies from blender card and then stamped and embossed the image in black. I've coloured in the image with Tombows and blended using a water pen. Ive used my scalloped oval spellbinder dies to make the pink and yellow layers. I cut the little chick from the printed paper with the smallest of the large classic circle Spellbinder dies. I've used the smallest of the classic large scalloped circle dies to cut the yellow. Ive added three small lemon brads to the top right of the card. I've added Glossy accents to the eggs, beak and flower dot.

Easter Card

Although I don't usually send out Easter cards. I thought that I would make a couple for the family this year. This card I made yesterday, and although I have made a similar card many times with this image, it is still a favourite of mine. The image used is Easter Egg from The Artful Stamper.
I've simply stamped and embossed the image with gold onto blender card, and then coloured in the image with Tombows and then blended with a water pen.
I've layered onto two shades of blue Bazzill and then onto a Whte Linen card.
