Turquoise/Pink Christmas Card

I spent some time last weekend cleaning out some old craft magazines. I came across a couple of Better Homes and Gardens Christmas issues and found the free papers were still in the magazine. This particular paper by Chritina Rae was perfect for this new release stamp from The Stamp Barn.
The cardstock used for the card is Terrific Teal Double Mate (double sided cardstock) from WorldWin Papers.
I've coloured the image using my Lyra Aquacolor water soluable pastels. I came across these in my craft room, just another product I had to have but never use. I was quite happy with the results.
The wording stamp is from Sunshine Designs.

Christmas Cupcake Card

After making the festive cupcakes I decided to keep going on the cupcake theme and I made this cupcake Christmas card.
The stamp I used is from Stamp It. The printed paper came from the bottom of my scrap box so I have no idea where that came from.
I've used one of the new JustRite Christmas stamps for the greeting.
The textured circle was made using Snowflake Impressabilities from Spellbinders with some Brilliance pearlescent blue ink.
A little liquid Applique was applied as frosting and heated to puff up.
I replaced the cherry on top of the cupcake with a snowflake diamante I bought at Michaels while in the US last month .
Spellbinders were used to cut the circles and scalloped backing circles.

Snowflake Cupcakes

Besides doing craft today, I decided I had better make something yummy for after school snacks. I picked up these fantastic little snowflake sprinkles as well as a few other designs from a flea market near Lancaster Pennsylvania last month. I've been wanting to use them so despite it being a bit early for my Christmas baking I decided to make these festive cupcakes.
